Great Salt Lake Nationals 2012

The weekend of June 28th - July 1st was the Great Salt Lake Nationals at Rad Canyon BMX in South Jordan, Utah.  We had a few Kaos riders from Colorado and Texas come join us for the weekend.
The nationals began thursday with the super camp and practices. Friday night was the pre race and then Saturday and Sunday were the national races.
We hosted a BBQ on friday night before the pre race started, to give us all a chance to mingle and get to know each other.
Even our injured riders (Jared and Ron) came out to support us.  We only missed one Kaos Utah rider (Uriah) this weekend.
Randy raced friday nights pre race and crashed in the main event in turn 3.  He ended up at the ER with a shattered clavical.  He did receive 4th place finish in the race.
Jorden raced all 3 days of racing.  Friday and Sunday she didn't qualify for the main, but Saturday she came home with a second place finish.
Clay raced 2 of the 3 races.  He brought home a 2nd on Friday and a 3rd on Saturday.
Garrett raced all 3 races. He brought home a 2nd on Friday, 3rd on Saturday and 4th on Sunday.
Paige also raced all 3 races. She brought home a 3rd on Friday and Saturday. She then brought home a 2nd on Sunday.
Xander raced all 3 races. He didn't qualify for the main on Friday and Saturday, but he brought home a 4th on Sunday.

Alexis also raced all 3 races. She didn't qualify for the main on Friday, but she brought home a 3rd on Saturday and a 5th on Sunday.  She crashed in the main event on Sunday and came away with a few scrapes and bruises.
A few other main event finishes for the weekend went to the following riders:  Kaden 5th on Friday, Gavin 4th on Friday, Mika 3rd on Saturday, Jaycie 7th on Saturday, and Aaron 4th on Saturday. I know there were others that brought home main event finishes, but I didn't write them all down and can't remember them all now.  We also had a few more crashes for the team also.  Aaron and Mika both crashed on Sunday.

Congrats to team KAOS for a job well done and thanks for all the support.
